Graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Wroclaw. In the years 1981-1989 he worked in the Polish National Bank. He actively participated in the creation of a new banking system in Poland. In 1988 he was appointed by the President of the NBP in the band evolved from the structure of the NBP and the West Bank creates SA. In 1989-1991 he was director of the Office of the Board of the West Bank SA. On the initiative of KGHM "Polish Copper" SA and Commercial Bank SA, made ​​from scratch Cuprum Bank, where in 1991-1994 he was appointed Vice President and then President of the Board. From 1994 to 1996, managing one of the largest branches of Credit Bank Wielkopolski SA. Then undertook the task of locating in Lower Silesia, branches of foreign banks - from 1996 to 1999 he was director of branch bank Creditanstalt SA and Hypo-Vereinsbank Poland SA.
